A road stretching through open country

Roaming

Roam, catch, cook.

01 · The idea

Most travel shows tell you where to go. Roaming explores who to follow when you get there.

Roaming follows longtime friends Derek Miller and Josh Hemingway as they chase experiences that live somewhere between the well-worn and the well-appointed. Dusty boots and great hotels, incredible food, remote landscapes and vibrant cities, trailheads and turn-down service. Because the best trips usually have both.

02The format

Every episode starts with a local and a question.

Show us your version of this place. The answer becomes the journey: a conversation turns into an invitation, an invitation becomes an adventure, and the people show us where to go next.

  1. Arrive & set the plan

The guys land in the region, lay out the goal, and hit the road or the water.

  2. Meet the local

A guide, captain, grower or fixer picks up the story and shows the way.

  3. Source from the land

A farm, grove, market or local shop, and what it grows.

  4. Source from the wild

Fish it, hunt it, dig it, or buy it off a boat.

  5. Cook & gather

A local chef turns the day's haul into a meal with stories, place and people.

03 · The Roamers

Hosted by Derek Miller and Josh Hemingway.

Each episode follows a four-day weekend built around the people who make a destination worth visiting. The plan is simple: show up curious. One introduction leads to another. A conversation becomes an invitation. An invitation becomes an adventure.

Over four days, Derek and Josh trade tourist checklists for real experiences, proving that the best trips happen when you let go of expectations and dive right in.

Boards, state programs and growers. Your ingredient ends up on the table.

Destinations and hospitality

The place, and where we stay. Every episode is built around a destination.

Brand partners

What gets us there and what we use when we arrive. The vehicle, the boat, the gear and the grill.

Local operators

The guides, captains, outfitters and chefs who open the door, and the table at the end of the day.
