Classic Car EnVy

Old soul. New current.

01 · The idea

Most car shows swap the engine. This one hands the owner a wrench.

Classic Car EnVy is a half-hour docuseries that follows the Clunn family and Green Shed Conversions, their EV shop in Crystal River, Florida. The team turns gas-guzzling classics into electric powerhouses, and the owners get to build right alongside them. It's not just a build. It's a look at where classic cars go next.

02The format

Every episode is a few builds at once.

Several cars move through the shop at different stages, and every episode closes with the moment that matters: the drive.

  1. Shop Conversions

Batteries and parts from wrecked factory EVs get a second life in a classic.

  2. Customer-Assisted Builds

Owners get their hands dirty, from first-timers to lifelong gearheads.

  3. EV University

Professor Proton, Steve's hand-drawn alter ego, breaks down one piece of the tech.

  4. The Demo Ride

The final test. The owner takes the wheel.

03 · The shop

Meet Green Shed Conversions.

Co-founder Steve Clunn leads the builds. He shares the shop floor with founder Audrey Clunn, owner Sarah Clunn and co-owner Jorin Brow.

Online, Steve is Professor Proton, and more than 25,000 EV enthusiasts follow his conversions step by step. The show brings that audience along, and a much bigger one with it.
